Big Block Pumpkins porch decor

Big Block Pumpkins porch decor

This was a very quick craft with minimal supplies needed to create these four big rustic wood block pumpkins. I used left over lumber. These were just end cut offs from a long 6x6x12's.  The wood block pieces vary is lengths from 15" to 17".  I used Apple Barrel pumpkin orange paint, paint brush, glue gun and sticks from the woods for the stems.  Using my chop saw, I cut the sticks to different lengths. Fall Pumpkin Wreath

Fall Pumpkin Wreath

This fall avante-garde wreath style was a custom order that was inspired by a Pinterest post.  My customer asked if I could make this for her, but it needed to be  4.5" thick or less so it would fit between a storm door and a wood door. Wooden Pumpkins Yard Decoration

Wooden Pumpkins Yard Decoration

These four pumpkins are made out of left over 2x8’s and 2x12’s lumber. I made these last year. The heights of the pumpkins varied from 1 foot up to 2 1/2 feet. The plaid was painted using all three colors. I used decorative chocolate brown screws to put them together. The leaves on the tallest pumpkin are Dollar Tree fall paper leaves decoupaged on. For the pumpkins stems, I used sticks from my woods and...

Floral paintings

Floral paintings

These are some paintings I just finished working on.  The three 11x11 are for my office and the BIG magnolia is a gift for someone. My husband is holding the BIG canvas so I can show what the frame looks like.  These are painted on stretch canvas with water base acrylics paint.  It had been a while since I had did any canvas painting so I thought I'd "brush up" on my skills.  These turned out really pretty. I just love them!!
