Wooden Pumpkins Yard Decoration

These four pumpkins are made out of left over 2x8’s and 2x12’s lumber. I made these last year. The heights of the pumpkins varied from 1 foot up to 2 1/2 feet. I selected complimentary colors to harmonize them all together, but make them all distinguishably different.  I really like the turquoise color pumpkin...adds a little pop! The plaid was painted using all three colors. I used decorative chocolate brown screws to put them together. The leaves on the tallest pumpkin are Dollar Tree fall paper leaves decoupaged on. For the pumpkins stems, I used sticks from my woods and added burlap and twine to give more texture and decor. Brown pre-wrapped wire was used to make the curly vines. Lastly, it is sealed in a water resistant 2X spray sealant. I think the pumpkins add a nice rustic touch to my fall yard decor.
