This beautiful owl is just adorable! Pinterest is full of such inspirational designs. You can find one that inspires you and then change it up a bit to make it your own or reflect your customer's preference. This is a 14" grapevine wreath base full of mixed greenery, berries, florals, pine cones, feathers and iced branches make this a perfect home for this plump fluffy owl. Accented with a large bow made with burlap and gingham plaid ribbons. Finished design is 22"H x 28"W x 8"D. Spectacular!!  Sometimes I amaze myself..... This is my favorite type of deco mesh wreath. This is made on the UITC Unique in the Creek flower boards.  These flowers make such a beautiful and cheerful statement on your door. Different petal shapes will make different types of flowers and the colors are only limited by the deco mesh....which is there is LOTS of colors to choose from. I have made these, but so far I have only done two types of petals. This painting is not my design idea. It was painted by another crafter/artist who is very talented. I saw this picture on Pinterest and was inspired to paint it.  I really like the design and wanted to challenge myself.  This was a great practice project for me...I had never painted an eagle before.  My main lesson was proportions and shading and the EYE. Making the doors was the easy part of this DIY. It's kind of like the 1/2 homemade meal...start with can or frozen food and then add additional ingredient to it. LOL.  For the doors, I started with pre-glued pine wood slats panels. This is real wood...not MDF or PVC. From there, I trimmed the length to height needed, added hardware and stained. This stunning winter wreath is made with only five basic types of decor:  14" grapevine wreath base, pair of snow owls, pinecones, white berries, and greenery.  What makes the wreath so lush is all the greenery. The greenery is layers and layers of mixed evergreens with the last layer being iced greenery. I love this wreath! My customer sent this picture of the wreath displayed on her door. She stated that the sun shines on it during the day and the wreath just sparkles. Her neighbors have complimented on a beautiful it is. Thank you neighbors for the compliments.
